Foul Pole (BSFOUL)
Installing Ground Sleeve
1. Dig hole. It is recommended that you dig a hole that is 24” diameter
and 48” deep. Local soil conditions may vary. Please consult your local
contractor.
2. Plumb Ground Sleeve and concrete in place. (Be sure to pour
concrete 3” below ground level. This will allow room to tighten the set
screws. Allow concrete to dry for 72 hours.
Assembly Instructions
1. Lay out all parts and consult Parts List to see that you have received
all of the parts.
2. Place parts on a flat surface to assemble.
3. Place three each of the small Brace Band (H) onto each of the Screen
Frame Tubes (D & E)
4. Slide Bottom Frame Tube (E) into Top Frame Tube (D). Be sure tubes
are pushed completely together.
5. Place six each of the large Brace Bands (I) on each of the Top Pole
(C).
6. Place the assembled Screen Frame Tubes into the socket on the Top
Pole and secure with the set screws.
7. Take the Screen Panels (F) & weave the Tension Rods (G) through
sides of the Panels as shown in diagram.
8. With the Panel and Rods assembled, bolt them to the Screen Frame
Tube Assembly by placing the Tension Rod into the Small Brace Bands
and secure with the 5/16” x 1-1/4” Galvanized Bolt, Nut and washer
supplied.
9. Secure the Panels to the Pole by placing the other Tension Bar into
the Large Brace Bands on the Pole and secure with the Galvanized Bolt,
Washer and Nut. This may take a little effort to stretch the Wire Panel
enough to bolt. This is by design to insure that the Panel is stretched
tight.
10. Slide the Bottom Pole into the Top Pole and tighten with the four Set
Screws (K).
11. Set Foul Pole into the Ground Sleeve (A) and tighten set Screws in
Ground Sleeve.
