Portable Benches with Back
Plank Assembly
1. Insert 5/16” x 3” carriage bolts through slots in unistrut clips.
2. Place unistrut clips with bolts into plank as shown (on the 15’ and the 21’ benches,
assembly is easier if you start with the center legs first).
3. Insert carriage bolts through the holes in the support post and hand tighten the 5/16” nuts
and washers (do not tighten the nuts until all the bolts
are in place and the support posts have been positioned).
4. Position the support posts by placing the middle post directly in the center and the two
outer posts 12” in from each end.
5. Level the plank (align with the ends of the support posts) and tighten the 5/16” nuts.
6. Install the aluminum end caps with the #8 x 3/4” screws.
7. Install the plastic end caps as shown into each of the four openings of every support post.
Not used on all models.
8. Place caution sticker on the top surface of the back support plank centered on each
support post.
